Course overview: 

Congratulations! You are now a part of an association. In this course, we will begin with exploring what an association is and define the different types of associations and their purpose. We will then discuss why associations are important and relevant in today’s world and the impacts they make on society. From there, we will discuss what roles are found within an association for both staff and volunteers, and how these roles work together to create a community. Finally, we will dive into how associations are at risk and how Sidecar can assist your association.

About the presenter: 

Amith Nagarajan is an entrepreneur who has served the association and not-for-profit market for over 25 years. As the founder of Aptify, he built a business focused on delivering the tech infrastructure associations needed to modernize and improve their agility.
